Litter Picking with our Buddies!

On Wednesday the 15th of November our class and our buddy’s class went litter picking. First we went into their classroom and read the Picker Power book. Then Ms. O’ Neill and Ms. O’ Regan gave us the litter pickers, so we could easily pick up the litter without getting our hands dirty. We also took plastic bags to put the litter in once we had picked it up.

Then again last Wednesday the 22nd of November we went out to pick up some more litter. This time we did a small litter picking activity sheet with our buddies. We picked up lots of litter and our school looks lovely as a result. It was a great experience!
