Astronaut Kellie Gerardi 'Zooms' into St. Laurence's!!

On Monday, 29 April 2024, world famous astronaut Kellie Gerardi 'Zoomed' into St. Laurence's to speak to the 2nd to 6th class pupils about her amazing work. Kellie spoke to the children about life as an astronaut and her experience of going into space. She also answered some of the children's fantastic questions. 

All classes created art work for the event and also participated in a competition called "Name a Star for the Solar System". A wonderful space themed display was set up in the foyer where the children's art and the star competition entries were showcased. 

Kellie Gerardi is also the author of the children's book series LUNA MUNA and the Junior classes got the opportunity to read and listen to some of the Luna Muna books.

We are extremely grateful to the Parents Association for organising this wonderful event for the children.
