Bhaineamar an-taitneamh as na gníomhaíochtaí éagsúla i rith Seachtain na Gaeilge. Bhí tóraíocht taisce, cluichí, tráth na gceist, amhránaíocht, céilí, spórt, seónna faisin agus Lá Glas i measc na n-imeachtaí. Rinneamar an-iarracht Gaeilge a labhairt gach lá agus bhí an-spraoi againn!
Toraíocht Taisce
The children had great fun taking part in the Tóraíocht Taisce based on the story ‘AG BUZZÁIL SA GHAIRDÍN’ which we had also explored in English on World book Day as part of our Scoil Amháin, Leabhar Amháin initiative.
Coiste Gaeilge
Our Coiste Gaeilge were out in force again this year giving stamps and stickers to those children making an extra effort to use their cúpla focail!
Back in the classroom, the title of Gaeilgeoir an Lae was awarded to those children making a big effort to speak Irish throughout the day.
Tráth na gCeist
All the children from 3rd to 6th class came together in the halla for a Tráth na gCeist! The teams were made up of a mix of children from third to sixth class and they worked together to claim the winning prize – Easter eggs!!
Paráid Lá Glas agus Amhrán na bhFiann
Our Seachtain na Gaeilge concluded with a PARÁID LÁ GLAS! Every class participated in the parade and it concluded with a wonderful rendition of Amhráin na bhFiann by our senior classes.
