Parents' Association

 AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

  • To help all parents feel they have a part to play in the school and a contribution in helping to make their child's years in the school a positive time in their life.

  • To represent the interests and views of parents of children attending the school.

  • To inform parents of developments in education and in the school.

  • To foster cooperation and promote good relationships between parents and the school board of management, the principal and the teachers

  • To assist with extra curricular activities and to offer and provide assistance in the classroom with the agreement of the principal and the teaching staff.

  • To help organise children’s leisure activities.

  • To help provide education for parents as required.

  • To help with the provision of extra equipment and teaching aids through fund-raising events.

  • To promote active involvement of parents within the Association.

We never refuse an offer of help; indeed we will often ask for your help on both a regular and occasional basis.
