Maths

Maths is taught in St. Laurence's as specified by the Department of Education and Science in the Revised Primary School Curriculum (1999).

From September 2007, the school has adopted the Fallons "Mathemagic" programme. This is used in all classes, infants to 6th class. From 1st-6th class the maths textbooks have been bought as school stock and children pay an annual rental fee. Children buy the additional “Shadow Book” and table book.

Use of practical materials and ICT is promoted throughout the school.
